Beinn-y-Phott is a convenient site just ten minutes from Douglas and Ramsey with good potential for cross country flights out to the west joining up Carraghan, The Cronk, Slieau Ruy, Greeba and on to Peel. If you land in the valley expect a huge walk back.
Take care with the transistion to Carraghan as others have encountered rotor when arriving low on Carraghan.
