Slieau Lewaigue is a great coastal site with plentiful top landing options. Bottom landing is available on the beach or towards Maughold. There is a useful field just past the Venture Centre at Lewaigue tram stop that is convenient for retrieves.
You will often enjoy easy climbs in a huge lift band and encounter height gains coutesy of wave from the UK hills across the sea.
This site can be a little turbulent low down due to the trees in front of take off. Take care when launching if the wind is off to the NNE or ENE. If you encounter wave that is out of phase this site can get very rough.
