W-Slieu Curn
Small Hill, for this to work the wind has to bang on the Hill. Not much height ever gained from here. 15 minute hike to take off on a large ridge that is bombarded by thermals from the village in front. Great bottom and top landing but fairly hostile terrain to the rear. Parking permit required at top of track, so leave as many cars as possible in the village. Please use the gates (closing them after you) and do not climb over fences.
